Shadow Work

This session is designed to gently but boldly initiate or expand the following process for you.

Here Shadow Work means having the peace and courage to look at the material that’s been cast into the shadows of our inner basement.

We throw boxes and miscellaneous debris down there, turn off the lights, and try not to think much about it. But it can get mildewy, cobwebby, musty. So we need to change the lightbulb, reorganize and throw away boxes, sweep and mop the floors, and open the windows.

Carl Jung said, “What you resist will not only persist, but will grow in size.”

And as Chogyam Trungpa pointed out, manure is a good fertilizer. Let’s tend to it together!
